Carmelita Silva moved her family to Colusa from Orange
in Southern California in 1994. She has since been a
committed citizen of Colusa County. She is married to
Juan Silva, and has three sons, Franklin, Cristian, and
Aaron.
Carmelita is an active member of the community and has
participated on various activities and fundraisers. She
served on the Grand Jury for Colusa County, Colusa High
School Site council, is a member of Our Lady of Lourdes
Parish, and is on the School Advisory commission for Our
Lady of Lourdes School.
Before
moving to Colusa she was a Senior Travel Consultant for
American Express Travel and ITS. She worked closely
with company executives of corporations such as Sun
Micro Systems, JWT Recruiting, Anaheim Angels and
National Education Corp. to name a few. She currently
owns and manages Pacific Travel in Colusa.
