Johnna was raised in Arbuckle, California, on a farm and has resided in Colusa County all her life. She comes from a long genealogical line of family farmers from Colusa & Glenn Counties. She has worked in Real Estate for 13+ years and specializes in residential and agricultural property sales. Having lived in the county all her life gives her an edge over most, in that she is very familiar with properties and their location. Since she is from a farming background she is also versed in 1031 tax deferred exchanges and understands FSA bases, histories, and water issues, when it comes to Ag properties. Her expertise in Real Estate comes from many different life accomplishments.

Johnna attended Pierce High School in Arbuckle and graduated in 1982. She went on to college in Chico, CA where she attended Butte College and C.S.U. Chico. She obtained an AA degree from Butte College in Business Education. From 1986 to 1993 she worked as a claims adjuster for California State Auto Association. There she received extensive training and it was there that the theory, "The client always comes first" was imbedded.

Looking to further excel, she decided real estate had great possibilities, and in January of 1994 she obtained her license and started a lasting career in Colusa County. Some of her other accomplishments include a strong family base and a marriage of 19 years, farming and harvesting rice each year with her husband, Kelly, developing a "Lavender Bath & Body Products" line from the lavender fields she has grown and nurtured. With an agricultural upbringing, agriculture and its education are very important to her. She is involved with ag-tourism and helps promote what her family does and what other farmers around her do. The accomplishment most dear to her heart has been raising a wonderful, loving family. Her daughter, Lindsay, age 17 and her son, Logan, age 15 are both involved in the family farm and are 4-H and FFA members who have successfully raised steers for the fair the past five years. Her husband, Kelly and her children continue to be very supportive of her career and encourage her daily to reach for the stars!
